March Registration Details

You are welcome to register for the full 13 days of the march, just a day, or anything in between–  whatever works for your schedule, interests and abilities.  The registration fee is based on the number of days that you participate. The cost for participation in the full 13 days is $669 for campers, and $832 for those staying in hotels (with half due at registration for either).

How the Registration Fee is Calculated

The registration fee is based on the projected costs of the march including lodging, meals, shuttle transportation and miscellaneous additional costs. We tried to keep the registration fee as low as possible by using campgrounds and budget hotels for lodging, which is the biggest expense.  All of the organizers are volunteers, who will also be paying their way to participate.

How to Register for the Days You Will Participate In

On the Registration form you will see a list of tickets.

Select a SINGLE ticket from the following 3 options for each day that you’ll be marching:

As you select tickets, the registration fee for that day will be shown, as well as your running total.

Note: Tickets will be emailed to you when you register but organizers will have a daily list of registrants, so no need to bring these tickets when you check in.

Registration Payment

You will be asked to make an initial payment of ½ of your total registration fee at the time of registration by entering the Promo Code: HalfDown. Note Write this down now, you’ll need it for the registration form! You will receive notice of your remaining balance in mid-April, with payment due by April 30th. Once you register you will receive simple instructions for setting up an optional fundraiser page. This will allow you to seek donations from friends and family to help support your participation in the march while in parallel we continue to fundraise for the overall march. The hope is that the second half owed will be less than what you initially pay.

Registration Deadline

Registration will close on April 16th but we urge folks to register as soon as possible because many march details are dependent on the number of marchers participating on any given day.   If you’ve missed the deadline contact us at ohio@thirdact.org to see if there is any way we can still fit you in.

Refunds

Refunds, minus processing fees (approximately 10%), will be given up until April 16th. Cancellations after April 16th will be issued a partial refund, based on the days you registered for and where you were staying. A member of the planning team will work with you on your refund.

In February, we will begin regularly scheduled information calls to review march details, get to know one another, and answer questions.

If you find that the registration fee for this march will be a financial burden for you, please let us know as young adult scholarships and some financial assistance may be available.
